WHAT IS COUNSELING?
Professional counseling is a professional relationship that empowers diverse individuals, families, and groups to accomplish mental health, wellness, education, and career goals. Counselors work with clients on strategies to overcome obstacles and personal challenges that they are facing.
WHAT IS COACHING?
Put simply, coaching is a process that aims to improve performance and focuses on the ‘here and now’ rather than on the distant past or future. While there are many different models of coaching, here we are not considering the ‘coach as expert’ but, instead, the coach as a facilitator of learning. There is a huge difference between teaching someone and helping them to learn. In coaching, fundamentally, the coach is helping the individual to improve their own performance: in other words, helping them to learn.
WHAT IS CASE MANAGEMENT?
Case Management Services provided by healthcare professionals working with people to identify issues and barriers that may prevent them from getting better and uncovering mutually agreed upon solutions to achieve their healthcare goals.
WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?
Essential oils are compounds extracted from plants. The oils capture the plant’s scent and flavor, also called its “essence.”
Unique aromatic compounds give each essential oil its characteristic essence. Essential oils are obtained through distillation (via steam and/or water) or mechanical methods, such as cold pressing. Once the aromatic chemicals have been extracted, they are combined with a carrier oil to create a product that’s ready for use. The way the oils are made is important, as essential oils obtained through chemical processes are not considered true essential oils.
HOW DO EXEERCISE & DIET SUPPORT MY WELLNESS?
Along with eating healthy food, physical activity is an important part of everyone’s overall health.
Exercising regularly can have many benefits on every person’s physical and mental health, including:

- Help improve the condition of the heart and lungs

Overall, exercising and being physically active is one of the best things you can do for your health throughout your life.
HOW LONG DOES TREATMENT TAKE?
Regarding counseling sessions specifically, You and your Therapist will work together to determine how long your counseling will last. Some concerns can be resolved in a short period of time, others can take longer. There is no limit to the number of sessions you may receive.
DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?
At this time, Dr. McCullough accepts Superior Health and Cigna Insurances. LPC-Interns accept Cigna insurance. Otherwise we are a CASH Pay center.
While we do not accept all insurances at this time, services are often covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking your provider the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
At the client’s request, a clinical receipt can be provided for each session to submit to his/her insurance company for

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY SESSION?
We request that you notify your counselor at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time if you need to cancel your session. Failure to give adequate notice will result in a full session charge for the missed appointment. Please note, insurance companies will not cover missed or cancelled sessions
